Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the acute team in the Targeted Acute Rehabilitation Program.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role
An opportunity for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist has become available to join our team at Northern Health, working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatient cohorts via the Targeted Acute Rehabilitation Program. This role provides rehabilitation and discharge planning to acute patients across all acute streams. You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient-centred and support access and flow throughout the health service. The role will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations. This position is primarily based at the Epping Campus.

Demonstrated clinical experience within an inpatient setting
Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team
