OverviewWe are hiring a full-time Coordinator (38 hours per week) to lead the YMCA Wavell Heights Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service at YMCA Queensland.
The Y Queensland stands with all people, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or belief.About The RoleAs the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the service and the leadership of a team of Educators.
You'll be supported by a dedicated management team including Senior and Area Coordinators, your Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver quality programs for childrenManage daily service operationsCoordinate staffing and rostersEnsure compliance with policies and regulationsOversee administration and reporting requirementsBuild strong, collaborative relationships with families and the school communityAbout YouCompleted (or working towards) a Diploma of Children's Services or relevant qualification in Childcare or TeachingExperience in program planning and a passion for quality childcareStrong communication and customer service skillsCurrent First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Current Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)About The ServiceYMCA OSHC operates across 50+ school sites in South East Queensland, providing before school, after school, and vacation care.
