WesTrac are looking for an experienced **Security & Emergency Management Specialist **to join our team based in South Guildford.

Reporting to the General Manager - Safety, Security and Risk, this individual will be responsible for contributing towards the development and facilitating the implementation of strategies regarding prevention, preparedness, recovery and response for WesTrac's people, assets and brand. This individual will also be accountable for reviewing and maintaining all aspects of WesTrac's security systems.

As a member of the Risk, Safety and Security Leadership Team, this individual will provide strategic advice and support to their state-based operations and Chief Executive, whilst ensuring proactive leadership is provided to ensure business outcomes are achieved.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Tertiary qualification within Security & Risk Management or significant relevant post qualification experience within the security or emergency management environment
- Extensive knowledge of appropriate risk mitigation process and standards of work
- Solid experience working in a leadership role within a similar environment
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Have advanced leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at a high level and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability influence positive outcomes
- Be able set and clearly communicate business targets and expectations aligned with WesTrac values
