**Job overview and responsibilities**

This role manages a portfolio of assigned accounts and key industry partnerships with a keen focus on increased revenue generation and goal achievement.

United Airlines' sales and account managers focus on driving outcomes and delivering value for both United and its customers. Working across a varied portfolio of agency and corporate accounts, you will deliver value and benefit for United's partners by employing consultative and value-based selling styles to drive revenue and market share.

National Account Managers build strong, trust-based relationships at multiple levels and across departments within the client's business, seeking out new opportunities to expand profitable business with existing and new customers, while actively promoting the United value proposition, brand and company messaging.

**Key requirements and expectations**
- Extensive use of sales technology and data platforms to identify and maximize mutual opportunities for increased revenue and share.
- Develop customized client solutions though in-depth data analysis, opportunity identification, market intelligence, deal building, account planning, quality account reviews and ongoing contract performance management.
- Incorporate appropriate combinations of contract components and alliance strategy to promote client value creation and establish United as a strategic business partner.
- Promote loyalty and satisfaction through establishing close working relationships with key customers.
- Effectively leverage executive/leadership to create deeper/broader relationships with client base and prospect for new opportunities.
- Actively participate in community and industry related associations and events.
- Maintain cross divisional relationships to build team loyalty and enhanced understanding.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

**Qualifications**:
**What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)**:

- Higher education
- 2-4 years in Sales environment, airlines and/or travel industry preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work consultatively with clients and prospects, promoting value and driving accountability
- Prepared to work outside of normal office hours and travel as required
- Hybrid (home/office) designation
- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
