Plant Operator

**About the role**

As a Plant Operator you will be part of the Capital Delivery Team and responsible for carrying out and completing skilled road construction and maintenance activities.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Work day to day on site with a construction crew.
- Follow the directions from the site supervisor.
- Operate heavy plant eg
- Rollers, Excavators, Backhoe's to licence requirements.
- Work on various construction site eg
- Road box outs, footpath replacements, pipe laying, pavement placement, site clean ups.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current MR or HC Class Driver's Licence
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
- Current Grader Ticket
- Current Road Roller Ticket
- Current Excavator Ticket

A pre-employment medical will be required for this role (including a drug and alcohol test)

There are full time permanent positions available for a Plant Operator with a salary commencing at $67,220 and Heavy Plant Operator with a salary commencing at $68,344 plus 12.5% superannuation.
