We are a larger family owned window treatment manufacturer and retailer. Recognised as a leader in our industry and still run on family values since 1974.

Decor Blinds and Curtains is experiencing some rapid growth and require a floor supervisor, who is focused, detail oriented, organised and good at problem solving.

About this role:

- Work hands-on in our factory, managing the day-to-day functions of manufacturing as well as producing product. This will include organising staff, workspaces, quality control and stock control.
- Previous experience in window treatments is not necessary, we can teach you that part, but we do require someone with previous experience in a similar role.
- Work with the Production Manager to ensure 100% on time delivery. This means you will need to be able to see the big picture, and delegate tasks as required to achieve the planned KPI's.
- Have a good eye for detail, we need someone who is aware of their surroundings and notice if something is not right, or could be better.
- Demonstrate aptitude for problem solving and be able to work under pressure.
- Oversee machinery maintenance, general cleaning, restocking and organising
- Work hours are generally 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday, however in peak production times some extra hours or the occasional Saturday may be required.

Requirements for this role:

- Excellent communication skills
- Forklift licence (LF) required
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Workplace First Aid certificate beneficial
- CAD/CAM experience beneficial, but not essential
- Be physically fit and have the ability to lift/move heavy items
