Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Join Kennedys as an Accounts Payable Officer - Casual Ongoing Role | SydneyKennedys is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly Sydney Finance team on a casual ongoing basis, starting ASAP.At Kennedys, our Finance team plays a crucial role in supporting the firm globally by delivering timely, accurate financial and management information, innovative reporting solutions, and operational support - all to maintain our exceptional service standards for both internal and external clients worldwide.About The TeamYou'll be part of a skilled and collaborative Finance team that includes the Head of Finance - APAC, Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, Credit Controller, Billing Specialist, and three Finance Administrators.
This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with our local Sydney team and liaise with colleagues in the UK.What You'll Be DoingGenerating ad-hoc reports from Elite as requested by the Finance ManagerIdentifying deposits in the Trust Account and advising the relevant PartnerProcessing Trust payments accurately and promptlyHandling general finance administration and data entry tasksManaging accounts payable efficientlyResponding to finance queries from across the businessSupporting credit control activitiesCreating and managing new vendor records in EliteProviding occasional support for Elite billing queries from secretarial staff and fee earnersWhat We're Looking ForPrior experience with Elite and Chrome River is highly desirableProven track record in a similar finance role within legal or professional services environmentsSelf-motivated with exceptional attention to detailAbility to follow instructions meticulously while being a proactive team playerStrong communication skills, with a confident phone manner and clear writing abilitiesSolid IT skills, including proficiency in Word and ExcelWhy Kennedys?
