DroneShield is seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Designer with relevant experience to join the development team in Sydney. The position will report to the Vice President - Design. It represents a unique opportunity to design sophisticated market leading equipment and technology within the defence space. The company has a strong foundation in Industrial Design with various market leading products performing with militaries and government agencies around the world.

**Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations**
- Development of new designs taking them from conception through to production
- Maintaining and updating current products based on feedback from end users and manufacturers
- Developing accessories and packaging solutions
- Supplier and manufacturer liaison
- Development and maintenance of bill of materials, assembly documentation and CAD models
- The writing of and the layout of user manuals, brochures, and marketing materials

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- BS degree in relevant Industrial Design or relevant Engineering discipline, similar technical field of study or

equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years experience in the industry preferably within defence, or consumer electronics
- Experienced in Solidworks
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Previous experience in design for manufacture and extensive knowledge of various manufacturing techniques
- Experience with rendering software such as KeyShot
- Previous experience working in the Defence industry is highly favourable.

Relevant experience working in industries such as medical, aerospace or consumer electronics are also

favourable.
