Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide technical support and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure efficient system performance.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Respond to user enquiries, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to resolve problems effectively.
System Maintenance and Deployment:
Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, and network infrastructure, including peripheral equipment.
Operational Improvements:
Contribute to the implementation of computer networks, website maintenance, and adaptation of programs to meet user requirements.
About You
Applicants should possess tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience and/or vendor certifications. Essential skills include strong understanding of hardware and software systems, troubleshooting, and installation.
Tertiary qualifications (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree) in Information Technology or a related field are highly valued.
Relevant experience and/or vendor certifications may substitute for formal qualifications.
Strong understanding of hardware and software systems, including troubleshooting and installation, is crucial.
Experience with network implementation and peripheral equipment maintenance is desirable.
Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.
Familiarity with ITIL or similar service delivery frameworks is beneficial.
Experience working in a call centre or service desk environment is an advantage.
