With 277 beds, our facility is designed to accommodate high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department situated in Bella Vista.We invite you to experience the dedication and excellence that define patient care at Norwest Private Hospital, where innovation meets compassion in a supportive environment for all.The RoleAvailability exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Endoscopy Technicianto join our perioperative team.Our DepartmentOur Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first stage recovery bays as well as an additional 32 second stage chairs.Our specialties include General (including laparoscopic), Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Robotics, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urologyand Vascular surgeryKey Responsibilities of the role:The Endoscopy technician will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, testing, maintenance of Endoscopy equipment, and processing of Olympus 190 series and 1500 series scopes.Onsight training and support is available for the most suitable candidateGood written and communication skillsMinimum 2 years' experienceA positive "can do" attitude with a strong work ethicExcellent attention to detailAn ability to achieve high quality standards whilst working independentlyGENCA accreditationFlexibility of work hoursCertificate III in sterilization services or working towardsWhy Healthscope?
