Theatre Endoscopy Technician Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Endoscopy Technician to join our endoscopy department.

As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the cleaning, disinfecting, testing, maintenance of endoscopy equipment, and processing of Olympus 190 series and 1500 series scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective management of endoscopy equipment and supplies.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Maintenance of accurate records and reports.
  • Participation in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Our endoscopy department is part of a larger operating theatre complex with 16 theatres, 32 first stage recovery bays as well as an additional 32 second stage chairs. We have various specialties including general surgery, colorectal surgery, bariatric surgery, orthopaedic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT, plastics, paediatric surgery, oral & dental surgery, gynaecology & obstetrics, ophthalmic surgery, robotics, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, urology and vascular surgery.
