If you're up to the task of preventing the wrong fellows from fooling the computers, you could be just the **L1 Security Analyst** this global ASX 50 healthcare provider is looking for.

Reporting into the Cyber Security Manager, you will discover and investigate threats, test and verify security controls, and participate in Incident Response.

Sounds clichéd, but this really is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking for their first role having worked with security practices as part of a technical role or a Cyber security professionals with 1-2 years' experience wanting to step into a broader environment to gain exposure to tooling & process, with the ability to make an impact on the internal security maturity, bolstered by continuous training and development on offer.

Around 4 years ago this company embarked on a security transformation program, implementing new tools and processes across the business. A typical day could include, log review & alerts, threat hunting, building out new capabilities, vulnerability management, performing risk assessments, fine tuning the EDR & SIEM solution or looking at implementing security across containerised environments. The team tends to mix up the tasks to keep their days interesting and gain exposure to new challenges.

We are looking for someone with a fundamental technical understanding around Networking, Security Operations & Vulnerability Management. An interest in the field of Cyber security Security is essential, having completed a few certifications in the field, played around with offensive security tools and been a part of the CyberSec community over the last few years.
