The company processes winery production residues to manufacture and supply high-quality natural Tartaric Acid, Cream of Tartar, and food-grade Spirit (ethanol) to the Australian wine industry, export markets, and Australian grapeseed oil to the retail sector.
This role is based in Mildura CBD; however, the primary production facility and company headquarters are located in Colignan, Victoria, which includes a state-of-the-art distillery and a green energy biomass boiler.
Established in 1990, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality products, leading to significant growth in recent years.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join us as a Key Account Manager to oversee the next phase of growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing current contracts and developing new business clients by executing key responsibilities including:Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market both domestically and internationally.Analyzing budgets, preparing annual marketing plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring sales targets are met.Researching and developing marketing opportunities and understanding consumer requirements.Building and maintaining relationships with clients and industry participants to drive sales volumes.Preparing and presenting weekly sales and marketing reports to senior management.Managing raw materials, including contracting waste products from wineries.Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, workshops, reading publications, and maintaining networks.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:Experience in a similar account management, sales, or marketing leadership role.Ability to manage price negotiations with clients.Leadership skills with the ability to deliver results through a team.Commercial acumen and sound judgment skills for effective decision-making.Ability to manage multiple and competing demands.Problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.Wine industry experience would be highly regarded.This role can be managed remotely from any capital city, and we are open to relocating the right candidate seeking a lifestyle change by the banks of the Murray River.
