**The Position**:
OpenTable is seeking a District Manager who will be responsible for managing restaurant retention, acquisition, and revenue growth within their local district. This position will lead a team of Sales representatives and Account Managers in NSW & QLD through challenging customer conversations in the field. This role will report to the Senior Director of Restaurant Sales and Services for APAC.
The District Manager will monitor local market conditions and guide their team in successful territory management. With a growth mindset to overcome a variety of restaurant acquisition and retention obstacles, you'll be required to challenge both internal and external assumptions to achieve ambitious goals.
**In this role, you will**:
- Hire, train, coach and lead Account Managers and Account Executives toward exceeding assigned sales and retention goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Understand and act on fundamental business drivers, delivering compelling data-driven proposals that ultimately lead to revenue growth in your district
- Alongside your team, build and nurture relationships with key customers in your district.
- Maintain an expert level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers.
- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with your team, your peers, and your key stakeholders
- Work closely with the regional marketing team to help expand the business through B2B and B2C efforts.
- A passion for the hospitality industry is a must. A relevant business qualification is desirable.
- Knowledge of the local markets (NSW & QLD) is strongly preferred.
- Proven success managing and leading a sales & account management team, including developing localised plans that generate business growth.
- Strong data skills, including the ability to identify key insights and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ability and confidence to step into challenging customer conversations, as needed.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and learn sophisticated concepts quickly and independently.
- Competitive, tenacious, and results-focused, passionate about over-achieving goals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with moving fast, changing and taking calculated risk
- Self-motivated, recognising that pressure is a privilege.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Salesforce CRM
- Flexibility for regional and international travel is required.
**Benefits**:
- Work from (almost) anywhere; wherever you do your best work.
- Mental Health Well-being: 6 company paid therapy sessions, subscription to a meditation app, wellbeing speaker series and resources.
- Annual Health and Wellness Reimbursement.
- 1 floating day off per year to celebrate your birthday or another occasion of your choice
- Company-wide weeks off each year: the whole team recharges (and returns without a pile-up of work).
- Paid volunteer time.
- Monthly catered office events.
- Learning and Development opportunities.
- Universal Paid Parental leave.
**Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion**
OpenTable aspires to be a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve and a culture that is inclusive and welcoming.
