Job Title: Legal Counsel, Product
We are seeking an experienced legal counsel to join our Product and Privacy team. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in global laws and regulations, with a focus on privacy, AI, online safety, marketing, accessibility, and consumer laws.
The ideal candidate will be able to advise on legal issues related to key areas, including product development, go-to-market strategy, and risk mitigation. They will also contribute to the development and operationalization of company-wide AI policies, processes, and legal frameworks.
Responsibilities include:
Identify and advise on legal issues in key areas
Build strong relationships with stakeholders
Contribute to AI policy development and operationalization
Draft and maintain legal playbooks and internal guidance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required skills and qualifications:
Legally qualified (AUS/NZ, UK, EU or US practising certificate)
3-6 years practicing law with some experience in-house, preferably in a technology company
Familiarity with key digital, privacy and consumer protection regulations
