With an unwavering commitment to safety, quality and the environment,TAMS has over 25 years' experience delivering integrated marine solutions to support Australia's infrastructure across the resources, government, energy and defence sectors.Driven by our core values of building trust with our clients and contractors, delivering our work with passion, supporting our staff and the communities we work in, we strive to keep evolving the standard for the industry to follow.The OpportunityTAMS are seeking suitably qualified experienced Welders to join our team at Fremantle Shore Base.Key Duties:Carry out high-quality pressure welding on pipelines, vessels, and structural components to meet industry codes and standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and specifications.Select and prepare materials, consumables, and equipment for welding tasks.Perform welding duties using GTAW (TIG), SMAW (stick), or MIG processes (Innershield) as required.Ensure all welds meet inspection, testing, and quality assurance requirements.Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in line with company safety standards.Complete job documentation, weld logs, and quality control records accurately.Work collaboratively with supervisors, fabricators, and other team members to deliver projects on time.Key RequirementsTrade Qualification – Boilermaker / WelderExperience in structural steel fabrication and weldingProficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick WeldingConstruction Industry White CardValid C Class Driver's licenceStrong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritising skillsAbility to problem solve and work unsupervisedAssist other departments to achieve time sensitive deadlinesCommitment to Attitude, OHS, Community and EnvironmentMSIC licenceWhat We OfferSalary packaging optionsEmployee Assistance programEmployee Benefits including discounted health insuranceAll Australian residing candidates will be considered.Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
