Senior Economist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Economist to join our team. As a Senior Economist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality economic advisory services, managing and contributing to complex projects, and developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
A background in economics is essential, and experience in the Water sector will be beneficial for this role. You will lead small to medium-sized projects and provide technical and strategic input on larger, complex assignments.
In this role, you will also support the development of junior team members, contribute to business growth through proposal development and market insights, and help position our company as a leader in applied economics in the water and infrastructure sectors.
Lead the delivery of small to medium-sized economic advisory projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes are on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Support the technical lead on complex projects and proposals, contributing to project planning, analysis, and client engagement.
Contribute to the preparation of reports and deliverables across all stages of a project lifecycle.
Ensure consistency in accuracy and timely output of work.
Conduct economic and financial analysis, modelling, and strategy development.
Deliver advisory services, including cost-benefit analysis, regulatory economic advice, and policy evaluation.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.
5-8 years of relevant experience in economic advisory, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.
