**The Company**
A privately owned waste processing, landfill and quarry busy with more than half a century of successful operation.

**The Opportunity**
Working in an operational environment, the Technician will join and established team of highly qualified environmental experts and perform a wide variety of tasks including;
- Assess incoming waste streams through close collaboration with laboratories
- Liaise with clients regarding the acceptance and processing of waste (typically from the civil infrastructure and construction sectors)
- Topographical mapping of the surface of the site using state of the art drone technology
- Work closely with EPA and monitoring consultancies to ensure the site remains compliant and maintains it's license
- Provide support in the development and maintenance of an on-site laboratory for quarry, landfill and recycling products

**The Requirements**
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science
- A current valid driver's license and car ownership
- Easy access to the northern suburbs of Melbourne
- Previous work experience in a lab studying soil samples or working for an environmental consultancy assessing contaminated land and some exposure to topographical mapping would be ideal but not essential
