We value differences in backgrounds, cultures, abilities, and experiencesWe proactively support our working parents in a variety of meaningful ways, and our parental leave top-up allowance is one of the ways we do thisPaid volunteer leave allowing you to give back to your chosen charity/community organisationAbout the role:Our Branch Managers lead and coach a dedicated team of customer facing sales, trade, and industrial specialists, while managing the overall performance and operations of their branch.Duties Include:Lead, develop and coordinate a team of sales and operational specialists to reach their full potentialEnsure financial management, compliance and operational standards are metDevelop and implement strategies to achieve budgeted sales targets and marginsProvide high levels of genuine service by creating lasting impressions and moments that matter for our customersBuild strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customersFoster and drive a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it homeNote, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.Who we're looking for:Success in achieving targets, leading and motivating teams, and forming/maintaining strong customer relationshipsStrong leadership experience in store/branch operations within trade product, industrial, mining and/or multi network operation highly desirableConscious of workplace safety alwaysBusiness management experience; strategic thinker; focussed to improve business performancePassion for providing genuine service and advocating for our brandExcellent communication skills, and ability to negotiate and resolve issuesSound computer skillsHold a valid driver's licenceFormer GPC team members welcome to apply.
