Beef City Processing Plant is currently recruiting for a Boilermaker that possesses a desire to join our dynamic Maintenance team. The position is full time - Monday to Friday including optional overtime on Saturdays where available. Our conditions of employment are one of the best in the industry.

**The role's responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- To ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Engage in fabrication, installation and repair of mechanical machines, instruments or appliances.
- To ensure that all work is carried out to the Company and requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
- To ensure equipment and facilities are in optimum condition for their intended use.
- Demonstrated ability to identify faults through the use of fault-finding techniques with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems.

**About you**:

- Experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the meat industry will be highly regarded however not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated continuous improvement approach and ability to support a broad variety of mechanical work.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a dedicated approach to work and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Ability to work at other shifts.
- Welding certifications & tickets will all be highly regarded.

**Remuneration (weekly)**:

- First 6 months: $ 1488.36 (wages) + $29.30 (tool allowance)
- After 6 months' probation: $ 1573.06 (wages) + $29.30 (tool allowance)

This sits under the Beef City Maintenance Enterprise Agreement 2020.
