Job Description:

Heavy Vehicle Manufacturing is a family-owned business, and we are looking for a skilled Boilermaker (specialising in aluminium) to join our team and contribute to fabricating high-quality bullbars. The ideal candidate will have experience in aluminium welding, fabrication, and assembly, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and safety. As part of our team, you will help produce durable bullbars that meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble bullbars from aluminium in line with design specifications and safety standards.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.

  • Operate various metalworking machinery, including welders, grinders, and cutting tools.

  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure all measurements and welds meet required specifications.

  • Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain efficient operations.

  • Follow workplace safety protocols and keep a clean, organised workspace.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) preferred or demonstrated knowledge and experience.

  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience fabricating bullbars or similar products.

  • Experience with CNC machinery or other metal fabrication equipment.

  • Forklift or heavy vehicle licence.
