We are currently seeking a specialty coffee Barista to join the team

Do you have a passion for coffee? Thrive in a fast-paced environment? And love engaging with customers? Then this role is for you As our head barista, you'll have access to the highest quality Specialty Coffee and work with the best brewing equipment on the market to create our delicious coffee beverages. You'll be responsible for:

- Serving our customers.
- Preparing and serving hot/cold beverages.
- Ensuring the coffee utensils and equipment are clean and sanitised regularly.

To be successful you'll have:

- A minimum of 12 months experience as a Barista
- A positive attitude and confidence to engage with customers
- Ability to work as a team - when you're not making delicious coffee, you'll be completing general duties such as making bagels & serving on the till
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, & weekends as needed
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- An understanding of Specialty Coffee will be highly regarded

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $21.18 - $35.06 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St Lucia, QLD 4072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Food handling: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
