**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Location: Birtinya QLD**

To lead the protein and commodity procurement strategy and execution for our rapidly scaling Food Solutions business unit of Kilcoy Global Foods Australia Group. Deliver procurement driven commercial outcomes by leveraging the scale of the fast-growing business unit, internal sourcing from the Kilcoy primary processing network and a spectrum of external suppliers. Build and own the Procurement governance process for Food Solutions to ensure best cost, highest quality and growth enabling outcomes for the Food Solutions business. Through better buying, contracts and supply agreements, ultimately making an active contribution to the profitability of the group, optimising COGS.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Lead & deliver strategic and commercial procurement outcomes for all proteins and commodity ingredients for the Foods Solutions business across the Kilcoy Global Foods Australia group.
- Build the Food Solutions protein and ingredient commodities procurement strategy to enable the rapid scaling of the business with the optimal cost and quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain the network of internal and external suppliers, with clear external oriented bench-marking to take advantage of current and projected market conditions.
- Build and own the protein and ingredient commodities procurement governance framework, using external and internal indicators to define and execute upon the short, medium and long-term procurement strategy.
- Identify, propose and execute upon product logic and/or design to value solutions.
- Input into in the Sales & Operations (S&OP) process to ensure optimal procurement supply and cost to meet our business objectives.
- Provide support NPD / trial ingredient and material sourcing in conjunction with NPD team.

**Experience / Qualifications Required**
- Technical qualifications or equivalent.
- Demonstrated multi-million $ protein procurement experience and expertise, or equivalent.
- Exceptional negotiation skills - Scotwork or GAP experience desirable.
