Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Data Analyst on a contract for 10 months with potential extension.

**Key duties**
- Cleaning, compiling and integrating data from a variety of sources and to develop and maintain analytic products for internal stakeholders.
- Updating and maintaining key datasets, dashboards and other online information portals.
- Maintaining a high level of record keeping and data management across a range of IT systems
- Undertake reporting activities using existing analytical tools and templates
- Provide quality assurance on data outputs
- Assist with the implementation of new processes and data policies

**Desirable experience**
- Experience in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or willingness to learn
- Experience in an analytical computer language for statistical analysis and automation (e.g. R/Python)
- Experience with preparing reports, briefs and other documents to a high standard
- Experience working with and analysing public economic, social and/or regional data (e.g. data published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics or MADIP and BLADE)
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
