THE ROLE: NOVA Entertainment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced creative to join our in-house podcasts team in Sydney as Managing Producer.
Reporting to the Network Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of multiple shows, managing a team of podcast producers and working on the development of new original content.
What you will be doing and what skills you may have: In summary: A creative audio content specialist, someone who has exceptional people management skills, an ability to work across multiple podcast projects and timelines and a proven track record of managing the production of high-quality audio content.
You'll have experience working with talent, managing and mentoring podcast producers, coming up with creative ideas and seeing projects through from ideation to launch.
You should have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, a desire for constant improvement and be a team player.
To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 10 years experience working in audio and content as well as experience managing creative teams Strong mentoring skills and the ability to lead a team of producers in a motivating and inspiring way Strong creative, content and ideation skills and ab ability to develop compelling ideas for both editorial and commercial content Excellent at giving feedback and constructive criticism Finely tuned editorial lens, an ear/eye for audio/video creative and experience making editorial and creative decisions Strong relationship management experience with talent and managers Understanding of legal restrictions around content (eg.
