Applications are sought for the following position: Head of HPE - Reedy Creek Campus This is a contract position for the 2026 school year with the potential to transition into a permanent role, beginning on the 15th of January 2026.The Head of HPE provides strategic leadership of the Years 7–12 program, shaping a vision of excellence through authentic learning, innovation, and purpose.
The role oversees curriculum, pedagogy, and staff development to ensure high teaching standards, skill progression, and strong student outcomes.
As a leader, the Head of HPE inspires staff, fosters collaboration, and promotes professional growth.
In a Christian school context, they model Christ-centred values and ensure programs are delivered with a biblical worldview, nurturing students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a teacher in Queensland.Demonstrated success as a secondary HPE teacher, including senior pathways.Proven capacity for curriculum leadership, assessment oversight, and staff development.Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and its application in HPE.Capacity to use learning data to drive improvement.Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively.
Personal Qualities A committed Christian with a demonstrated ability to integrate faith and learning.Visionary leadership with the capacity to inspire and motivate others.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships.Organisational skills, resilience, and initiative to manage competing demands.A commitment to ongoing professional learning and lifelong growth.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for; at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer) at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2400 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12.
This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
