We currently have a new opportunity for a Security Operations Analyst to join our Information Technology (IT) team. Based at our Camberwell support office, this role will play a key part in influencing all security related matters and is adept in dealing with complex, cross functional processes and challenges to ensure the best outcome for API is achieved

**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to**:

- Promote API IT security framework, policies and procedures
- Work closely with IT Security Manager to highlight and/or identify programmatic improvements to policies and procedures to secure IT BAU practices
- Conduct security reviews to identify risks across API collective IT environments
- Support IT Security Manager with audit and compliance activities associated with industry requirements including PCI-DSS Compliance, Internal & External Audit and verification
- Support the management of IT risk and compliance across the department and corporate environments
- Provide understanding and direction of emerging security and IT technology solutions, industry trends, and progressive operations methodology
- Safeguard day to day business operations
- Support the design and development of systems for best practice and successfully support business continuity
- Assist with development, deployment, and management of an IT Security awareness training programme across the organisation

- A proven track-record in IT service delivery operations and comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing organisation
- 5+ years of relevant experience in similar roles encompassing both level 3 or service delivery and security of information technology systems
- Sound knowledge and experience with security, control and risk frameworks and standards such as ITIL, PCIDSS, ISO27001/2, and AS4360
- Sound understanding of risk management concepts and current best practices, techniques, methodologies, and management tools, aligned to ISO31000
- Relevant experience with Internal & External audit processes and requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems (OS) security controls, with proven skills in hardening and risk mitigation
- Sound understanding of IT operations/functions, infrastructure, and networks
- Experience working with cloud services (AWS & GCP) in a managed and unmanaged environment
- Sound understanding of Enterprise and Domain security principles, practices, concepts, and tools

**Education/Experience**:

- Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification in Technology/Digital Disciplines or business-related discipline (Desirable)
- Undergraduate qualification in a technical discipline
- Industry certification of CISA or equivalent is preferable
- Able to retain a current security clearance; therefore, applicants will be required to be Australian citizens
