Our key partners include FMG, Rio Tinto, and BHP.Being traditionally owned and operated First Nations business, iContracting Group provides genuine career opportunities for all Australians.About The OpportunityLorrex Contracting a division of the iContracting Group, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team due to new long-term projects kicking off.Roster: 8/6 day shift onlyEnvironment: mining load and haulAbout YouExtensive supervisory experience in mining or bulk earthworksExperience maintaining Caterpillar and Komatsu earthmoving equipment, including HD785-7 rigid dump trucks and CAT992K loadersMinimum 5 years in a similar role within the mining environmentStrong safety-focused approach to workExcellent leadership and people management skillsEffective communication and organisational skillsAbility to lead, develop, and mentor crewsHR License - desirableWhite Card - essentialAustralian Working Rights - essentialResponsibilitiesAs the Maintenance Superintendent, reporting to the Project Manager and managing workshop personnel, you will:Mentor and manage workshop HD fitters, servicemen, and subcontractors as requiredEnsure safe maintenance practices while meeting daily KPI targets, managing both planned and unplanned eventsConduct daily pre-start and toolbox meetingsIdentify and resolve maintenance-related issues with the project teamMaintain high safety standards and lead by example to encourage safe work practicesEnsure compliance with relevant codes and specifications, and implement client requirementsBenefits & RewardsBe part of team first environmentCompetitive salary package plus superannuationSupportive training and developmentOngoing projects and career growthVisit our website at: is an equal-opportunity employer that encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
