Binna Burra is an iconic Australian eco-tourism destination, connecting nature to people some 800 metres above sea-level amidst the subtropical rainforest of Lamington National Park. A jewel of the Scenic Rim Region welcoming visitors since 1933 Binna Burra is easily accessible from both the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

**About the role**

We are looking for a professional Housekeeper who will attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.

The goal is to create a clean, orderly and sustainable environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

**Skills and experience**

Required skills and experience;
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Senior Housekeeping Manager
- Previous experience in a remote location and multi-area venue
- Chemical handling and storage experience, previous knowledge of eco-friendly products highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of all financial aspects i.e. wage costs, department budget, purchasing
- Able to provide training and up-skilling for all new and existing housekeeping employee's
- Ability to create SOP's, policy, procedure and training documents
- Understanding of Microsoft and Property Management Systems (Newbook experience favourable)
- Exceptional time management skills
- Must be experienced in the inventory of housekeeping supplies and amenities, as well as the ability to maintain them within the allotted budget
- Perform quality inspections throughout the lodge and campground and deal with complaints regarding anything housekeeping related
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Critical thinking to recognize problems and identify solutions
- Binna Burra is 24/7 business located amongst spectacular scenery and offers a wonderful lifestyle for staff living within a reasonable distance.
