With the power of many curious minds, together we can continue to solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Role description:With an increased focus on client-side Technical Advisory and early in the value chain opportunities, we are looking for a highly accomplished Transport Planning leader to provide technical direction, mentorship and leadership to our national Transport Planning team.Role accountabilities:Team leadership, including line management of the national Transport Planning team;Provide technical direction to Transport Planning projects and workstreams;Undertake the role of Project Director or Project Manager on large Transport Planning assignments;Providing technical advice to support our clients in addressing their transport challenges;Lead business development activities, including supporting the account management of our Government transport client key accounts;Oversee Transport Planning bid development;Contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory, Planning and Technology Business Unit's strategy and achievement of targets; andParticipate in Arcadis global forums relevant to Transport Planning.Qualifications & Experience:Importantly, you will share our passion for improving the quality of life and having a positive influence on the way people use our transport network.
We are seeking a highly experienced Transport Planner with experience in a broad range of projects, including but not limited to:Policy and guidanceStrategy developmentMulti-modal transport plansPlace based transport plansMovement and Place frameworksOptions analysisBusiness case developmentYou will have:Tertiary qualification in a relevant disciplineMembership and/or active involvement with relevant industry bodies (e.g. AITPM)Previous consulting experience with a strong track record of client deliveryEstablished client and industry networksExcellent communication skills with the ability to direct reports and proposals, lead meetings, prepare and deliver presentations to a high standardExperience in leading multi discipline project teamsDemonstrated ability to provide thought leadershipContinue your career journey as an ArcadianWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
