Venture Build Freelancer

**The role**:
As a Venture Build Freelancer in our APAC Venture Studio team you will work closely with a lean team to scope, structure and validate a new startup opportunity that leverages the scale strengths and unfair assets of our partner.

Your role will be to execute on a range of experiments on the ground in Perth. These will be focused on customer interviews with blue and white collar workers to explore the startup opportunity space we have in hand. You will quickly build rapport with individuals in this space and spot themes, trends and patterns that emerge from your discussions, ones that will contribute to building the highest impact venture possible.

This role would suit a range of people, from consulting analysts with relevant skills through to prior Founders excited to explore a new opportunity space.

**Requirements**:

- Deep interest in working on a new venture that will impact the way workflows in this space operate in the future. This is an industry ripe for disruption and a fantastic opportunity to get exposed to the world of venture building through Rainmaking APAC
- Ability to work hands-on through our customer experiments and support in executing on these. This will involve user research, site visits and interviewing individuals to gain deep customer insights
- Familiarity and/or experience with market research and Voice of Customer initiatives will be highly valuable, consistently thinking customer-first
- Demonstrated confidence to engage with a variety of individuals with a range of personalities and professions. This will span from corporate stakeholders through to blue collar workforce members
- A natural eye for spotting themes and patterns, both through your intuition and data
