**_Your Role:_**

Our finance team plays a key role in supporting our retail network and budget holders across the finance spectrum. Our seven strong local finance team work well together, believe in collaboration, support each other and provide excellent customer service to their internal clients. The trick to their success (apart from amazing excel skills) is making the complex sound straight forward by removing technical finance speak and ensuring their audience understands the message they are conveying. Reporting to the FP & A Manager, our new Financial Planning Analyst will form a key part of this team.

**_Your Purpose:_**
- Working closely with all department heads to ensure all budgets are accurate and timely
- Deep dive analysis on expenses, communication cost, OPEX and other business costs
- Monitor key financial performance metrics, and work with FP&A Manager on timely interventions on any unexpected issues impacting budgets and financial performance
- Assist with preparation of P&L, balance sheet and cash flows for budget/forecasts
- Prepare required financial reporting, bridges and ad hoc reporting in accordance with Management and Group requirements during budget and monthly closing
- Support FP&A Manager on relevant internal controls to support business compliance

You will be a people centric professional, eager to further your finance career, have an eye for detail, be amazing at excel, able to work at pace and be an exceptional communicator. Ideally you will have a bachelors degree majoring in either Accounting, Finance or Economics, have several years financial reporting and budgeting experience within an Australian based business and an analytical mindset.
