Overview
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Designer with a proven track record in data migration and solution development.
Main Responsibilities
Evaluate, create, and implement data migration solutions, including inputs/outputs, tooling, monitoring controls, and reconciliation.
Utilize database technologies such as Oracle and SQL Server to design and implement data migration solutions.
Develop strong system integration experience with APIs, batch jobs, integration orchestration, and design patterns.
Achieve knowledge of Data Warehouse/ETL concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.
Key Requirements
Convert high-level architecture blueprints into detailed system designs, analyzing solution options and risks.
Produce design artefacts, including component diagrams and sequence diagrams, to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Lead discussions with business stakeholders, architects, and designers/leads from other system areas, communicating technical ideas clearly.
Create system/data mapping diagrams/documentation aligned to migration process, both automated and manual.
Review work, provide guidance to less experienced colleagues, and lead by example.
