Life Enrichment Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Life Enrichment Assistant.

About The Role:

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in activities
  • Assist in designing, delivering and monitoring lifestyle services and activities
  • Implement innovative events and activities for residents and the wider community
  • Provide direct care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting
  • Support residents with meal service, mobility and social support
  • Work collaboratively with peers and maintain a positive team environment
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure safety

Requirements:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • Reliable team player
  • Commitment to respecting residents' values, customs and beliefs
