The overall purpose of this role is to drive the implementation of the global maintenance excellence program with the view to improve: uptime and optimize the equipment lifecycle, ongoing plant equipment reliability, employing lean strategies towards zero waste and total employee engagement. This role supports each of our five manufacturing sites in their evolution of best practice via internal audits and strategic planning.

**About the Role**
- Drives the McCain global maintenance excellence program for the ANZ region
- Delivery of global and regional KPI's including uptime, cost, inventory and other leading indicators
- Manage spare part inventory levels, spare part cost, suppliers selection
- Provides technical support and coaching to maintenance management across the ANZ region
- Ownership of regional obsolescence and Asset Life Extension programs with direct input in regional 5 year capex plans
- Collaborate with internal HR teams to develop a succession pipeline for key maintenance roles in the region

**About You**
- 7+ years experience working in a FMCG company.
- Contractor management
- High Risk work management
- Budget management
- Confident to work and interact with others at all levels
- Bachelor of engineering, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related area.
- High level of computer literacy and ability to analyse data.
- Lean manufacturing experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, MDI
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills
- AutoCAD skills
- SAP experience
- Significant experience with industrial services would be desirable
- 10+ years experience working in a FMCG company would be advantageous
