About the role
The Human Resources (HR) Consultant is responsible for the provision of advice, coaching and support to people leaders across the full breadth of People & Culture (P&C) activities. For the assigned portfolio currently Western Melbourne metropolitan and some regional locations.
**Your main duties will include**:
Manage grievances and disciplinary processes, including undertaking investigations, and preparing briefs and recommendations
Working collaboratively with managers you will assist in the effective management of employee performance and support the development of employees to reach their potential
Analyse trends to identify and recommend new HR programs and strategies to achieve the goals of the assigned portfolio and throughout the region
About you
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related field (or working to completion)
Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role within a large organisation
Analytical skills to lead and undertake workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
