The Opportunity
We have a fantastic full-time opportunity for a passionate individual to lead our Western Australia team as a Courier Supervisor, based in Perth. This role requires you to coordinate our team of couriers with daily allocation of set runs, rostering of courier staff to support the Lab operations, supporting the courier fleet while ensuring compliance for vehicles and staff. You will also need to provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate collection of samples and delivery to the laboratory. In addition, your supervisory responsibilities may include:
Performing employee training as required and determine the most effective route to deliver samples to the laboratory in a timely manner
Daily review and approval of courier driver times through "TANDA"
Preparing fortnightly rosters and arrange coverage to ensure IDEXX service offering to all clients
Conducting performance reviews, monitor courier run performance and onboard all new courier drivers
Implementing endorsed IDEXX administrative and HR procedures and practices and monitor to ensure that all staff are aware of, and compliant with these procedures.
Participating in recruitment, selection, disciplinary action training and development of staff. Evaluate performance, provide feedback and recognize achievement.
A full driver's license - essential and a clean Driving History
Higher School Certificate preferred
Experience working as a courier or delivery role - desired
Customer service experience with outstanding supervisory and relationship building skills
Professional presentation and attitude
Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
Ability to identify and report process inefficiencies and assist with implementing improvements
