The Role :
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this rare opportunity ensures that the shifts across the Front Office department run smoothly, efficiently, and continue to provide outstanding guest service and experience.
The role is varied and is responsible for overseeing and managing the Front Office Team, check-in and check-out processes, accurate administration, and compliant business management.
You will promote the hotel effectively and communicate efficiently across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
About you :
To be successful in this position, we are seeking individuals with experience in a similar Duty Manager role, ideally from the hotel industry.
You will be an effective communicator and a natural problem solver.
You should be well-organized and value a team environment.
Duties include :
Supervision of front office staff including rostering and workforce leadership
Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly
Monitoring check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations
Ensuring all front office operations follow standard procedures and company policies
Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments for room status and guest needs
Maintaining accurate records of incidents, complaints, and solutions provided
Acting as the point of contact during emergencies or critical situations
Our hotels are collaborative and inclusive, and a like-minded approach will be valued.
You should be open to working within a 7-day roster, which is likely to include weekends and public holidays.
You should be an ideas person who uses initiative to resolve issues easily.
Strong IT skills and experience using Opera PMS would be highly regarded.
