Overview
Confluence Water, a Ventia, Downer and Jacobs Joint Venture, is one of three Regional Delivery Partnerships providing services for Sydney Water. We are often the first to reach an emergency during severe weather events and we are responsible for the delivery of an unprecedented pipeline of capital works across the life of our ten year contract. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire. We have an opportunity for a
Mechanical Fitter
to join our Maintenance team and work on the Sydney Water Treatment Plants, Networks, maintenance and minor projects in the Northern area of Sydney Water. You will be maintaining essential infrastructure and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment. This is a permanent position with a Tier 1 organisation. You will be provided with a Tool of Trade Vehicle, Fuel Card, eTag, Tools and Technology.
About You
Responsibilities
Maintain essential infrastructure and troubleshoot a diverse range of mechanical equipment at Sydney Water Treatment Plants and networks in the Northern area.
Contribute to maintenance and minor projects as part of the Confluence Water team.
Qualifications
Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Work Safely at Heights
Enter Confined Space
Provide First Aid
Able to execute work tasks with minimal supervision
Desirable Skills
Elevated Work Platform
High Risk Work Licence - Dogging (DG); competent in core elements required for the discipline and demonstrated experience in some site-specific tasks
Water and Wastewater experience
Leads reliability and performance improvements
Trains and coaches other staff
