**The Opportunity**
A unique opportunity, ideal for a Legal PA looking for a career step in the direction of practice or office management. In this role you would support the management and operation of a leading international practice, working alongside a Practice Manager, and Finance, Business Development and Operations professionals.
Key responsibilities of this position are split between spearheading financial administration best practice for department teams, overseeing and administering the matter lifecycles of the department in tandem with the PA team, and supporting special projects as needed by the Management Team.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Engage with the management team and utilise in-house platforms to identify and improve upon processes, implement changes, and encourage collaboration between departments;
- Engage with lawyers and PA staff to facilitate and coordinate cohesive billing practices and assist with significant and complex end to end billing;
- Lead the analysis and review of financial workflows to achieve high levels of financial hygiene in the areas of billing, cost centre allocation, debt recovery, WIP, and expense management;
- Assist with the on-boarding of new support staff including taking part in training and involving relevant contacts to support the success of the new starter;
- Act as a key point of contact for department enquires about processes, compliance, and best practice;
- Approach your role with curiosity, taking the initiative to develop your skills and lift those around you.
This role is a full-time position, five days per week, with flexibility to work remotely once or twice a week.

**The Requirements**:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Previous experience with private practice support with a team support background;
- IT savvy with demonstrated proficiency and confidence using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and legal matter management systems;
- An interest in engaging with the department and PA team in particular as a trainer, ambassador, and leader;
- Strong knowledge of the legal billing process with the aptitude for managing significant and complex bills;
- Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work to multiple projects;
- Excellent communication skills.
