**About the opportunity**

As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping neighbourhood people connected and building community resilience. make sure that every experience customers have is a great one. You will be supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.

**Role Details**:

- **Casual Position**, Monday and Tuesday, between 9am to 5pm.
- **Time will increase depends on performance.**:

- Extensive, supportive training for 6 weeks on commencement.
- Loaded casual rate starting **$33.66 / hour**:
**You'll be**:

- Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
- Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
- Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
- Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
- Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you **

You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love working in a team environment. You're ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community. You'll also need to:

- Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift

Pay: $33.66 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
