About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Australia Post Truck Driver to join our team at Atrans in Molendiner.

As a Australia Post Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transport of goods and packages to and from local distribution centers and high volume customers. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to move to full time if desired.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operate and maintain a commercial truck to transport Australia Post parcels and packages
  2. Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and reliable service
  3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any vehicle issues
  4. Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  5. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with Australia Post staff and customers
  6. Comply with all relevant road traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Valid Australian driver's licence (HR or HC class) with a clean driving record
  2. Previous experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably with in the road transport industry
  3. Strong time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules
  4. Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Familiarity with the Molendiner QLD area and surrounding regions
