We are proudly part of Japan Post — are seeking dynamic, visionary professionals to join our team as we expand our Government and Defence portfolio across multiple key projects.This is your chance to be part of an organisation that is shaping the future of supply chain solutions directly supporting Defence and Federal Government agencies.About the role:The Customer Service Manager VIC oversees all customer service and support services in the region.This role involves acting as the main contact for customers and regional management, ensuring that Toll meets its contractual obligations, operational expectations, performance measures, and financial management.Primary responsibilities:Managing all Customer Service operational needs and tasks across all the VIC sitesConduct all applicable storage services including inventory control, accuracy and maintenance, and manage the distribution of all stock items locally as requiredDeliver support, including labour assistance, to Customers undertaking activities in the field, including managing or operating a field storage areaSupport and deliver Services beyond the Service Counter or Storage Facility including managing and operating field storage areasMaintain engagement through the nominated Service CountersManagement of Security Protected AssetsTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proven experience in managing operations and Warehouse Management SystemsMust be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Security ClearanceDemonstrated ability to lead teams across a variety of warehouse operations and geographical locations, ensuring priority is given to safe work procedures and encouraging attention to detailThorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with previous Defence warehousing and logistics experience (highly desirable)Experience delivering exceptional customer service and working with a team in quickly resolve issuesTertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fieldExperience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and applying methodologies like Lean or Six SigmaWhat moves you?
