To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a **Principal Groundwater Modeller/Hydrogeologist** to join our team.

**The Role**: Reporting to the **Team Lead Hydrogeology**, the purpose of this role is to provide technical input to and develop Arrow's groundwater modelling and data analysis needs to quantify magnitude and uncertainty of predicted impacts on groundwater resources to ensure and demonstrate compliance with both State and Federal regulatory frameworks.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition, you will**:

- Lead Arrow's engagement with OGIA on the Surat UWIR CMA model and Arrow's use of the model internally by compiling data for delivery to OGIA, developing response to OGIA on development of the UWIR model, managing use of the model under the Model Deed, and interrogation of the model and generation of model outputs for internal clients.
- Lead refinement of numerical groundwater models to satisfy regulatory and internal obligations by following Australian Groundwater Modelling Guidelines, to predict magnitude and quantify uncertainty of Arrow's potential impacts.
- Lead engagement with specialist organizations on development of research projects and review, refine, and provide technical expertise for the maintenance and ongoing development of the Arrow groundwater database to ensure Arrow can track data collection and demonstrate compliance with regulatory obligations.
