Salesforce is at the heart of the customer experience suite of tools.
We leverage Salesforce's suite of products, Sales & Service Cloud including Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Tableau Next to give our client-facing teams the ability to deliver a 5 star service at scale.Salesforce integrates deeply with our broader tech and CX stack, including, Asana, Zoom, Netsuite, and Big Query.This role will see you work directly with our Internal Tooling Lead, reporting to the Head of Product, and working closely with our Salesforce partners J4rvis.
You will be regularly tasked with project work, shaped into 6 week long projects, working with the broader engineering team to deliver internal tooling excellence.To be successful in this role there are a number of skills and attributes we'd love to see;Design, develop, govern, and support the ongoing operation of C&B's digital platforms and integrations between Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft Composer, and external applications including REST, SOAP APIs, and OAuthDesign, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura / LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.Proficiency in Apex (triggers, classes, batch jobs, schedulers) and SOQL, ensuring at least 80% code coverage and adherence to best practices.Ability to create and customise Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes.Understanding of Salesforce security model (Profiles, Roles, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets).
Knowledge of API development & integration, working with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP.Familiarity with deployment tools like Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, or DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, etc.).
Implement user interfaces with a high degree of usability and accessibility standardsEnsure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and features to suggest improvements.Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I / II, Salesforce Administrator)Work on projects independently at times but in contrast, collaborate as part of a team to contribute to some broader business plans and goals
