Principal Consultant – Mining & Resources | Perth | $110,000+

Base pay range: A$110,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr
What you'll get
Strong base plus uncapped commission — high billers in this team regularly clear $250k+
A mining and resources desk with huge scope across engineering, project delivery, operations and senior technical hires
Choice to focus on perm, contract, or a mix — the market is busy in every direction
Perth CBD office with flexibility around office/home balance
Travel built into the role — site visits with clients across WA and interstate opportunities
Clear line of sight to leadership roles if that's your path, but equally a home for serious solo billers
What you'll do
Partner with some of WA's biggest resource operators and contractors
Deliver mid-to-senior hires where average fees consistently outstrip other sectors
Build and own relationships across a market where trust, reputation and repeat business are everything
Work with autonomy — no heavy KPIs, just results and outcomes
Who you are
An experienced recruiter with a background in resources, construction, engineering, or other technical markets
Commercially minded, resilient, and able to build credibility quickly with clients and candidates
Either an established Principal ready for a new platform, or a Senior Consultant ready to step up into a bigger market
