About The Role:Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Track Machine Operators to join our WA Rail Surfacing team.
These roles will primarily be based in Southern WA and operate in a Drive-In Drive-Out capacity depending on project location.
Rosters are predominantly 14 days on 7 days off but are subject to change depending on client requirements and may also include night shift work for certain work scopes.
Primary project locations include the South-West, Wheat-Belt and Goldfields-Esperance freight networks and the Perth urban passenger network.
Possible support of project work in the Pilbara region may also be required on a short-term ad-hoc basis.
Point of Hire is Perth.About You: Applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment Rail CAT 1 Medical Construction Induction Card.
Strong understanding and focus for safety.
Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Recent experience of working as a Rail Track Machine Operator.
We are looking for Operators who are experienced in any of the following machines: Plasser 08-16SP Tamper Operators Plasser 08-16SH Tamper Operators Plasser Unimat Operators Ballast Regulator Experience (PBR / JBR / Plasser SSP / other) Desirable attributes: Plasser ALC system knowledge and computer experience.
MR vehicle licence.
Safeworking experience / qualifications on the Arc Infrastructure network.
