**We will count on you to**:

- Empower your clients to problem solve. We do what it takes to help clients to be safe, healthy and productive at work. You will feel like a superhuman doing it
- Work as an in-house Injury Manager with Australia's leading manufacturing company
- Oversee a portfolio between 45 - 50 cases (non-billable)
- Provide injury management and early intervention services, inclusive of obtaining relevant information from workers, employers, treating doctor(s) and other relevant professionals
- Provide a high level of customer service and build and maintain relationships with site supervisors / managers, Employer Claims Team and injured workers to achieve positive outcomes and maximise business opportunities

**Day-to-day this might include**:

- Identifying the hurdles our clients have to return to work following illness or injury. We work with them to problem solve, plan and achieve safe and sustainable recovery and return to work and independence
- Proactively manage and drive RTW and claims management outcomes for workers compensation, income protections and non-work related injuries/conditions
- Maintain electronic databases for cases
- 3-point contact for all new injuries within 2 hours of notification
- Facilitate medical consultations, case conferences, and teleconferences as required
- Develop specific and appropriate RTW plans
- Working from Employer sites up to 3 days per week (across Melbourne)
- Liaise with treating parties to drive claims forward
- Liaise with Employer Claims Team regarding barriers to RTW
- Take part in claims reviews and/or injury management meetings as needed
- Discuss the need for EAP, counselling or critical incident debriefing and recommend site personnel implement as required
- Occasional coverage of interstate sites
