Role Overview
As a Senior Guidewire Developer, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by designing and developing innovative solutions within the Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter platform.
We are seeking an experienced developer to collaborate with our team in enhancing workflow automation and orchestration, crafting effective test plans, and managing deployments across environments.
This is a permanent role with a flexible hybrid work model, welcoming applicants from various locations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with peers to develop and maintain PolicyCenter solutions within Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.
Enhance workflow automation and orchestration.
Craft effective test plans and manage deployments across environments, ensuring smooth transitions to release teams.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in Guidewire development.
Solid design and development experience with the Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter platform.
Experience with workflow orchestration and automation tools within Guidewire.
Familiarity with Guidewire Health Check processes and defect resolution workflows.
Good CI/CD experience with tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with source code tools like GitHub Actions/Bitbucket.
Strong understanding of application design and development processes and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
Ability to implement generic, reusable solutions and provide documentation and training.
Experience in developing and executing a software implementation plan.
