- About the roleReporting to the Head of Marine Underwriting, the SME Marine Underwriter's primary objective is to grow and maintain a profitable marine portfolio by delivering a market leading level of underwriting service for fast flow products to our brokers.

This includes, efficient and profitable underwriting of both new and existing business, and risk assessment on referral quotes, endorsements, cancellations and renewals.
- Important to your success- Secondary Education
- Insurance qualifications (preferable)
- Demonstrated competency in communication and influencing skills
- Computer literate - Word & Excel to intermediate level of proficiency
- Marine underwriting experience (desirable)
- Business Acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
